Business Case - Outdoor Passive

The most common failure of regular outdoor passives is overheating caused by high current through the inner coils and connectors.    Safecom's outdoor splitters and coupler overcoming this common and costly problem by providing the most powerful coils, designed to support 17A constant current, and up to 25A for two hours.   Safecom's outdoor passive connectors also have the highest level of grabbing force and low resistance designed for 20A constant current.

All Taps are designed to support 12A constant current, much more than similar product in the market. As a result, Safecom's outdoor passives offer the dual benefit of significantly increasing network reliably and substantial reduction on MSO operational costs.      Safecom's Ground block is an example for innovation. It includes integrated test point that prevents the need to open the ground block for testing and repairs. This unique feature is an an answer to one of the most disturbing problems in the network –corrosion. Corrosion affects the lower band of the spectrum and acts as capacitor which is High-Pass filter (mainly telephony and data and VOD). Also includes surge protection.
